After a two-year hiatus, the 2022 Ontario General Insurance (OGI) Hockey Tournament was held on April 1st – 2nd in Fort Erie and Port Colborne. This event is celebrating its 42nd anniversary and has raised in excess of $450,000 over the last fifteen years through the generous support of its participants and sponsors. All proceeds raised by the OGI hockey tournament go to support local youth charities and for 2022, the event raised $15,000 for Autism Niagara.
The Ontario General Insurance (OGI) Hockey Tournament would not be possible without the dedication of committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and participants who have devoted their time and resources to make this tournament such a success. Team 30 Forensic Engineering (along with 19 other incredible teams – across 3 divisions) were proud to participate and would like to thank the organizers for hosting such an impressive and enjoyable tournament. A special ‘thank you’ to Scott Maskell at Erion Insurance Group for all his hard work.
Please note that the dates for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 tournaments are set and the events will be held in Kitchener-Waterloo on March 10-11, 2023, March 8-9, 2024, March 7-8, 2025. Save the dates!
