Mr. Jaber is an associate of the Civil/Structural and Building Science Group located in our Vancouver office, and he specializes in field of Building Enclosure. Rakan started his career in the building construction industry providing consultation for concrete residential buildings . During his time as a building envelope consultant, he was engaged in multiple building enclosure failure investigations related to water infiltration and defects in roofing systems and various wall assemblies. His expertise also includes building enclosure condition assessments, facility management, warranty reviews, and multitude of rehabilitation projects, providing contract and construction administration, producing design drawings and specifications, conducting field
reviews, and developing technical reports. Rakan has graduated with distinction in Master of Engineering in Building Science at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) , specializing in hygrothermal, air flow, and energy analysis of building enclosures. He also has experience in ventilation, indoor air quality, energy management, and sustainability.
