The 30 Forensic Engineering Remediation team will discuss remediation and clearance techniques for facilities impacted by COVID-19, specifically the impact of infected employees and/or visitors.  The Team will briefly review the current state of the science and the regulatory framework related to workplace health & safety and will then focus on some case study findings to help inform better decision-making and identify best practices for risk management, followed by a Q&A session.  This discussion will be of interest to those who have questions about cleaning, disinfection and the associated risk management related to providing a safe and clean environment for their employees, commercial partners, and customers.

Grant is a Senior Associate in the Remediation Group at 30 Forensic Engineering with project management and leadership experience, specializing in commercial, retail, industrial and residential environmental projects and assessments. Grant has extensive experience in all facets of delivering indoor environmental projects and occupational health and safety assessments. Grant’s environmental experience includes: air quality, industrial hygiene, designated substances, noise, water quality, Legionella and confined space assessments.

Chris is an experienced project manager, specializing in commercial and industrial environmental projects and assessments. Environmental projects and assessments include: designated substance surveys, indoor air quality assessments, mould assessments and their associated abatements and remediations. Christopher has extensive experience related to all facets of delivering environmental projects from initial assessment, preparation of scopes of work, inspections during construction phases and project closeout.

Meghan is an Intermediate Associate with the Remediation Group at 30 Forensic Engineering. She holds a Master of Environmental Science degree from the University of Toronto and specializes in biophysical interactions between terrestrial and aquatic systems. Meghan possess a wide range of environmental experience from the private consulting, academic research, and federal government industries. Meghan’s experience includes transportation spill cleanup projects, indoor and outdoor environmental assessments, and working with statistical and ecological models to address environmental issues.
