TORONTO, Oct. 7, 2016 /CNW/ – Giffin Koerth, a leading forensic engineering firm, this week unveiled a new brand identity through the introduction of a new name and logo. The new brand signifies growth and transformation and celebrates the culture of world-class forensic expertise built over the company’s 14 year history. Giffin Koerth will now be known as 30 Forensic Engineering.
The new logo is a nod to the early days of newspapers, when reporters would submit their final news copy on typewritten pages. Because the typesetters in this era would have to work with hundreds of typewritten pages every day, and had to work very quickly, reporters would type DASH-THREE-ZERO-DASH, or “30” (THIRTY), at the bottom of the page, to signify to the typesetter that it was the end of the piece. It was a way of saying that the facts were all there. That nothing more could be said. That this was the whole story.
“The launch of our new brand kicks-off a new era at our firm that speaks to who we are as a company and that we are a direct reflection of the community we serve—multi-disciplined, dynamic, professional and client-focused,” said Chris Giffin, CEO of 30. “We are proud to be ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry, and our new brand identity will illustrate how far we have come over the past 14 years. We’ve evolved from a firm of 4 engineers to 100 full‑time staff, including 60 engineers, scientists and experts working in 14 different practice areas of Forensic Engineering, loss mitigation, and remediation.”
Giffin continued: “The firm has tremendous brand equity—our connection and partnership with our clients compels us to evolve with them. Through our steadfast commitment to being ‘the last word in forensic engineering,’ our new identity is a symbol of this promise and just one of many exciting new developments to come. 30 is our promise that when we submit a report, we tell the story. All the relevant details. All the relevant facts. Compellingly. Convincingly. Correctly. We provide the information our clients need to make decisions with confidence.”
