Let’s Remember that Diversity and Inclusion Begins With ALL of Us – Pride Month 2020

As Pride month festivities are coming to a close, now more than ever it is important for us to acknowledge and recognize this important time and what it represents to the LGBTQ2+ community well beyond the month of June. As avidly stated by Pride Toronto, “No matter who you love or how you identify, you will be safe, valued, equal, and proud. The voices and stories of our community are as diverse as they are beautiful and we will work to make sure that each of us can be heard and that we listen to each other. Our community has the right to be free from fear, free from oppression, and free to discover and love as our true selves. We will work to honour and advance the freedom of everyone in our community.” Well said Pride Toronto!

30 Forensic Engineering acknowledges that Pride is a tremendous time that recognizes people of all backgrounds and orientations and that we stand together with the LGBTQ2+ community not only for the month of June – but throughout the year and beyond.  Our firm’s ongoing journey to proactively champion and expand inclusion and diversity is a fundamental pillar within our core values. Today, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge, thank and recognize our own great team members from the LGBTQ2+ community.

Jeff Reitsma MBA, PMP, P.Eng., Vice President & Practice Lead, Multidisciplinary Remediation at 30 Forensic Engineering states:“While this year’s celebrations are no doubt unusual and challenging for a host of reasons, these circumstances do not in any way dampen our collective enthusiasm for Pride Month 2020, and for the Virtual Pride Parade on Saturday. We wish to thank all LGBTQ2+ team members here at 30 Forensics, and stand proudly in solidarity with the global LGBTQ2+ community – have a safe and happy Pride Festival Weekend. As we at 30 Forensics seek the truth in our work, through the diversity of our team members, we hope everyone takes time this weekend most especially, in celebrating the love and humanity that ties us all together.”
