Scope of Work Developed by 30 Forensic Engineering to Issue Clearance for Cleaned & Disinfected Work Areas

On the afternoon of March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) a global pandemic. Since December 2019, confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased exponentially and there are now over 240,000 confirmed cases and over 9,000 deaths worldwide. Canada is also currently experiencing exponential growth in confirmed number of COVID-19 cases.

30 Forensic Engineering has developed Scope of Work documents to help our insurance industry partners (restoration contractors) across Canada address this immediate need for cleaning and disinfection and has implemented a confirmatory sampling process in order to issue clearance for cleaned and disinfected work areas.  We will be conducting clearance surface sampling which consists of (Adenosine Triphosphate) ATP bioluminescence testing and analysis.

Grant Elligsen P.Eng, CRSP, LEED-AP O&M, C-NRPP is a Senior Associate in the Remediation Group at 30 Forensic Engineering with project management and leadership experience, specializing in commercial, retail, industrial and residential environmental projects and assessments. Grant has extensive experience in all facets of delivering indoor environmental projects and occupational health and safety assessments. Grant’s environmental experience includes air quality, industrial hygiene, designated substances, noise, water quality, legionella and confined space assessments.
